Street Art in Waterloo

I’ve been meaning to photograph Leake Street for ages and, as it’s so close to where we live, it’s surprising it’s taken me so many years to finally get there. What I love most about street art is the beautiful and powerful sense of community and personal expression that it provides — for everyone and for free. And it changes all the time so that it’s alive as well. Which is one of the reasons I like to take pictures of street art. Unless it’s a Blek the Rat or a Banksy, it may not be around for very long at all.
