Mizzi’s Mushroom at Kew

I tell all my B&B guests who are planning to visit Kew Gardens to check out the newest permanent installation near the Hive: a giant timber, wood and flax fiber mushroom at the centre of the new Carbon Garden. It’s absolutely beautiful, designed by Mizzi Studio, creators of the fabulous coffee kiosks in the Royal Parks. From every angle, there’s a brilliant image and varying sculpture. I dream of photographing it from above!

On the day I shot the Mizzi mushroom, I also had a quick twirl around Kew Palace and the Palm House Parterre — always a treat no matter what time of year.
