Beneath Nelson’s Gaze: fear, hope and the long shadow of empire

On the 15th of May, two very different marches passed through central London separated by Trafalgar Square. One — that of the British far right — expressed fear, exclusion and entitlement; the other called for Palestinian justice and freedom.
