A Child’s Mind

One of the best parts about being a grandparent is that a lot of the worry over the behaviour of children is massively reduced. And you see that children, by and large, are actually fairly sensible on a day out. Of course patience is required on a trip with an entire Year 2 group of school children, but to see their natural interest in pretty much ALL THINGS is truly fantastic. And I realised what extraordinary things there are indeed at London’s Science Museum.

On our visit, we saw the areas of the museum focused on communications devices and machines but also immersed ourselves in the sensory rooms of the basement and ground floor.

The final bit of the trip allowed the children to have a go at the morse code machine and a look at generations of telecommunications equipment.
